Juda, Wisconsin 6th Grade Class
Juda, Wisconsin is a small town with a big heart. Set among the rolling hills of Green County, Juda's population of 357 supports a variety of programs and events for its k-12 school. The 6th grade class, led by teacher Amanda Reinke, was looking for a quick way to raise money for this year's camping trip.
With less than a month before the bus was scheduled to leave, the 19 students were looking to raise $760 to finish paying for the trip.
Having heard about Fudgeraiser from another local group, Ms. Reinke reached out to Fudgeraiser to see if we could help finish off their fundraising goal.
Order forms were quickly prepared. Abigail and Calli, Fudgeraiser's Outreach Specialists, headed to Juda for a kickoff pep rally on March 14. Students were invited to taste samples of the fudge, received official order forms and envelopes, and were inspired to reach out to potential donors.
All of the order forms were returned on March 31 for Ms. Reinke to tally and submit the final Fudgeraiser numbers. To their surprise, the 6th grade class had exceeded their goal! In just two short weeks, their sales of fudge resulted in $996 earned for the camping trip.
The Fudgeraiser was a success, and Ms. Reinke is already looking for dates for next year's class.
